More than ice cream — we’re building community.

Roonies Recognizes brings together volunteers, students, and local partners to package meals and organize toy drives for families in need.

An estimated one in eight children in Wasatch County struggle with food insecurity. We believe this is a major problem in our community and we want to make a difference! 

While most food bank donations include mac ‘n cheese or ramen, we wanted to provide something more nutritious. 

The idea came to life with help of the Wasatch High School CAPS program; a recipe was developed, packaging created, and the first donations were received from friends and family.

Roonies Recognizes has since received generous donations and volunteers from our community which allows us to make a continued impact.
